PSALM 127

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain...Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; they will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.

16 Weeks

How far along: 16wks
Total weight gain/loss: Gained 3 back.
Maternity clothes:  Rubber bands and Bellabands are still doing the trick, but may need to do a little shopping soon.
Sleep:  Definitely craving it less and less as the 2nd trimester moves along.
Best moment this week:  Another wonderful appointment.  Baby and I both checked out well.  That heartbeat is still music to my ears!  Can't wait until Kyle can detect it with the stethoscope.
Movement:  Felt the first flutters last night!  Incredible and surreal!  Like popcorn popping.
Cravings:  Any fresh produce.  Salads, veggies, and fruits!
Gender:  Not a clue!
Labor Signs: None
Belly Button in or out?  In.
What I miss:  Hot weather.  Nothing to do with the survey, but it's really the only thing I miss.
What I am looking forward to:  Going home to SC in two weeks!  Knowing the gender so we can pray for this baby by name!
Weekly Wisdom:  Stay active until bedtime and avoid long naps.  It's hard, but worth a solid night's rest.
Milestones:  People are definitely starting to "notice."

  2. Soooo exciting...the flutters, the heartbeat, the bump...it becomes more and more real everyday, doesn't it?! Just wait until you find out the gender...all of a sudden he/she will seem much more like a real person. So cool! And, so awesome that God can do such MIGHTY things!
