PSALM 127

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain...Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; they will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.

She'll have a sweet Daddy

I have always known that Kyle, while strong and appropriately stern (No, honey, you may not cut the grass at 38 weeks pregnant), is deep down and occassionly on the surface -- a sensitive man.  God has shown me in several ways why He chose to bless us with a little girl, but a couple of nights ago while I was bar-b-q'ing the chicken and steaming the zucchini, the Lord was "icing the cake" ... where proving His perfect will is concerned
~still missing the bedding and table~

Then, this morning we were able to sleep in a bit since Kyle didn't have to go in until mid-afternoon.  We were supposed to have a "get it all done day" of not-so-fun chores.  Instead, he treated me to doughnuts from a local bakery (Ray's Pastries), chocolate milk, and a chick flick.  Is he ready for the challenge of being outnumbered by females or what?  I am so grateful for this man.  I am so grateful that he is Eliza's Daddy.  I can't wait to see the two of them together.

  1. That video just melts my heart! He is smitten by that little blessing ALREADY! I can't wait to "see" him when the litle miracle arrives!
